Retrieves metadata for a YouTube channel identified by its URL, handle, or ID. Supply id in one of the supported YouTube URL formats or use the channel's handle or ID.

Error handling

A 400 is returned when the request is invalid. A 404 is returned when the channel identified by the id query parameter cannot be found. A 500 is returned when an internal error occurs; use the error response's message and details to diagnose the issue.
